Your Gift is Strategic
Promoting responsible stewardship of the Lord’s provision is one of the four main tenants of Redemption Seminary. This commitment to operating within the means that the Lord provides makes Redemption Seminary a wise place to direct portions of your charitable giving.
Reshape education to eliminate student debt
Having a network of supporters secures the stability and advancement of Redemption. This allows Redemption the ability to provide the highest quality of education at a price and a pay-as-you-go model that doesn’t involve student debt or discount games.
Your Gift Multiplies Economic Opportunities
Redemption Seminary provides competitive pay (compared with other market sectors) for mentor-professors with doctoral degrees. Seminaries have been churning out Ph.D.s and D.Min.s at such a rate that there aren’t enough teaching or mentoring positions available for them. Since these people end up taking jobs unrelated to their degree, many people aren’t aware of how many people are in the church that could be highly qualified mentor-professors in a field that they love. Since Redemption’s model requires one-to-one mentoring, it creates economic opportunities for these people. They work as honored contractors and determine how many students they are willing to teach and when. This type of freedom could work very well for stay-at-home spouses or those that wish to supplement their income by investing in others. Not only will this income benefit the mentor-professor, but it will also relieve some pressures on church budgets in the area of adult education and discipleship.
For those who don’t already hold a doctoral degree but want to pursue this type of opportunity, Redemption Seminary will offer a path for them to earn one. Giving to Redemption Seminary multiplies the economic opportunity for church members who want to study theology and mentor others.
Your Gift Increases Biblical Literacy
Typically, seminary students self-select as those wanting to pursue the pastorate or full-time ministry. However, there are many more people who are committed to studying the Bible and investing in others but would never think of formalizing their theological and spiritual development with a seminary degree. Redemption Seminary specifically reaches out to such unconventional students and seeks to raise the tide of theological understanding in the church by increasing the total number of people who receive formal theological training.
Your Gift is Tax Deductible
Redemption Seminary is a not-for-profit school. All donations are tax-deductible.
