Academic Prerequisites
For those with an Accredited undergraduate degree
An accredited bachelor’s degree (or higher) is the main requirement for acceptance into the graduate-level program. The undergraduate degree does not have to be in the field of religion or the humanities. The purpose of an undergraduate core curriculum is to provide sufficient general liberal arts education, and Redemption Seminary accepts such a general core as a foundation for its religious degrees.
If you are a resident of one of the following states please apply for the non-graded track or the request information page. (AK, CT, DC, DE, MA, MI, NV, NY, OR, RI, UT, WY)
The application has an application fee. If you aren’t ready to pay the fee, please fill out the request information form to get more information.
For those without an accredited undergraduate degree or Resident of a Non-program State
Those in a non-program state or those without an undergraduate degree can work through the courses and use all the resources in the Logos library through the non-graded track.
Exceptions to the admissions policy regarding an undergraduate degree may be considered on a limited basis. There is an additional process to apply for an exception which provides an opportunity for an applicant to demonstrate academic readiness for graduate-level work in biblical studies. This process includes considering an applicant's professional, educational, and theological background experience. Redemption can grant a limited number of these exceptions per calendar year.
This track is also a great option for those who simply want to take courses of your choice without the additional expense and complication of being graded.
If you want to be on the waitlist without working on course material this year, please let us know on the request information form and the Academic Dean will contact you to set up an interview.
More About the Application Process
Open To All
Redemption Seminary has an open enrollment policy. It admits any student who affirms Jesus is God and lives their life accordingly, and is appropriately prepared to benefit from its educational programs. Applicants must agree with the seminary’s Statement of Faith and abide by its Code of Conduct (both may be found in the Student Handbook).
At this time Redemption Seminary only has programs in English and is only accepting students who are fluent in English or who have earned a degree from an appropriately accredited institution where English is the principal language of instruction.
Technology Requirements
Students must supply their own computer for the program and have access to high-speed internet. The minimum specifications for the computer are what Logos Bible Software requires. These requirements can be found on this page: https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007506971
